George Elliott

Cooper Software, the Dunfermline-based systems integration specialist, has announced that George Elliott has been appointed as a Board advisor.

The appointment comes at a strategically important time for Cooper Software who, during the last financial year, saw a growth of 30% in revenue and an 85% growth in profit that was attributed to major business wins with global companies such as Kaefer C&D and Synergy Health.

Mr Elliott is non-executive chairman of Craneware plc and Cupid plc, both of which are listed on AIM. During the last six years he has been non-executive chairman/director of 11 companies including Kewill plc, the logistics software company, which was listed on the main market of the LSE, Corsair Components Inc based in Fremont, California and Simple Audio Ltd. From 2000 to 2007, Mr Elliott served as CFO at Wolfson Microelectronics plc.

Mr Elliott said.

Now in its ninth year of operation, Cooper Software has quadrupled its client base and tripled its employee level in the last three years, and with a newly-opened office in Manchester it is well positioned to capitalise on growth potential in UK, before expanding further into the European marketplace.
